Then Came Baby is a complementary 5 week series for expectant parents to assist in Black mamas in navigating pregnancy, infant feeding, postpartum and newborn care.  We aim to empower our parents with the knowledge and skills necessary to have a healthy pregnancy and birth. Parents will meet weekly with a different topic. 

 

Upon completion of the series, participants will receive a certificate of completion and a $100 gift card and 2 boxes of diapers and wipes.

When:  We will meet online via zoom for the first 4 sessions.  Our final session will run in person to "graduate" our mamas, share a meal, and pick up gifts.

 

Class will meet online 11/2, 11/9, 11/16 on zoom and on 11/30 in person. The class runs from 6:30-7:30pm

• Black mamas living in the southward of Newark

• Must be pregnant or newly delivered
